The director Ian Rowe has definitely turned up the heat on this production, so it should really be called Sizzling Mikado.
Also Choreographer Chris Cuming has added more modern dance steps (Jazz hands are banned).
There are some who prefer pure Gilbert & Sullivan and will not come to the show on principal , there are others who will come because it is a modern twist on Gilbert & Sullivan’s original Mikado.
Those that do come will definitely be in for a treat and they be telling people how great is was, those that decide to stay at home, will miss their one chance to see an amazing production performed in a modern and unique way.
Some of you may say you have not heard of the show, this is even more reason to come, I didn’t before we started rehearsing and now I love it and very much looking forward to sharing it with you all.
